• The points reduce when spent in the shop. This makes it difficult to track progress or define levels or ranks on a leaderboard.

• Having 2 separate calculations (points earned and current balance) for 1 denomination, might become confusing and hard to track over time.

Proposed Idea of 2 denominations - XP & Coins

1) XP

• XP a.k.a experience is a number that indicates the student's learning progress throughout their journey of using BFS.
• The student receives XP after completing each class, worksheet and coins.
• BONUS XP - Bonus XP are awarded when the student has achieved something extra - For example : Achieved a badge in the class, submitted the worksheet before time, got a perfect score on the quiz etc.
• Bonus XP is the differentiating factor between the students who have attended all classes and completed all post class activities. These determine their position on the leaderboard.
• Higher XP denotes the student has been putting in more effort.
• The student is levelled up when their XP reaches a certain threshold.
